Hello!  Today’s word is ‘bién’, more comfortably said as the phrase, ‘múy bién’.

In Spanish, múy means “very” as in a degree of feeling, and bién means “well”.  So, the phrase means ‘very well’, typically in answer to the question of “How are you”?  You can use this phrase, ‘múy buéno’ when you want to be less specific in your answer which translates as, “very fine”, or just the informal ‘buéno’.

The word ‘bién’ has its roots in Latin and means the same in both Portuguese and French. 

So, the word for today is ‘bién’, which translates as “well or fine, depending on the question asked.
