With the introduction of new video playback features in portable media devices, Internet users can transfer
full-length webcasts, originally broadcast live, to their mobile devices to watch at their convenience. This entirely
new medium for viewing on-demand webcasts greatly expands their accessibility and ease of use.
Video webcasts are converted directly to mobile video formats based on industry-leading MPEG-4 video
technology. Audio webcasts can also be heard as standard audio-only media files such as Mp3. If applicable, the
user can simultaneously view the slideshow that was presented during the original broadcast.
Watching audio and video on-demand content has become a leading Internet application.
"As mobile devices become more ubiquitous for business users, this improved delivery of on-demand
presentations will allow our customers to reach more viewers. The original concept of converging technology is
truly with us today: it has become very easy for people to access the media content they want, wherever they
want, and on whatever platform they run," said Shaun McIver, President and CEO of Streamlogics.
